On 16 April, Amnesty International released its annual report for 2019 “Human Rights in Eastern Europe and Central Asia”.
The authors of the report note: "Freedom of expression has come under attack in all countries of the region with no exception" (https://eurasia.amnesty.org/annual-report/).
Particularly, the report describes the persecution of Fakhraddin Aboszoda (Abbasov), the leader of the Talysh national movement and a famous scholar and journalist.
